On this date in 2004, I was but hours away from a truly excellent adventure. Dear Eureka Springs, I miss you so.
Kimberly, one afternoon of sunshine in two weeks of February-ish yuck does not “summer” make. (Tho it may be all we get.) However, I’ll fantasize along with you if it’ll get Bakerina here for blackberry season.

Oh, babydolls, how I would love a westerly adventure. Unfortunately, it looks like my New for 2005! Summer Adventure will have to take the form of an occasional stolen long weekend in Providence or Baltimore. Not that I don’t love Providence or Baltimore, but as far as going away further...sigh. If we want a westerly adventure, we might have to save it for October or so.

Bake, I don’t think you’re allowed to recycle summer adventures past—it makes me and Snow feel old. You must have Fresh, New-For-2005 Summer Adventures. Scotland doesn’t count, it happened in the Spring.
Go West young woman.
