It should be a sweet, happy day here at Chez Lloyd’n’Rina, but I’m feeling a bit broody.  Lloyd has earned his first paid vacation in five years, and is bound for Cleveland, just because he’s never been there before and is curious to see it.  I am thrilled that he is finally taking some richly-deserved time off, but it’s going to be a long week without him.

Fortunately, I found some pleasant distraction this afternoon over at The HG-Spot, where I found the link that answers the question, “What would Jen look like as a South Park character?”

To those of you degenerates who are thinking that the correct answer is either a) Miz Crabtree; b) one of the Raisins girls; or c) Miz Cartman (fresh from the cover of Crack Whore magazine!), you should be ashamed of yourselves.  The correct answer is this:

Toonerina2

And no, you can not demand that I get my bitch-ass in the kitchen and make you a pie.  wink

Fear not, dearest HG.  There will always be pie.  Pie is good.

Yep, Mary, that would be Cleveland, Ohio.  Lloyd is a singular kind of guy.  He had planned to fly to Vegas and then drive out to the desert town where his grandparents lived when he was a little boy, but then he decided that he wanted to go somewhere he’d never been to before.  Cleveland really sounds like a punchline, but it is home to a terrific art museum, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, an amazing restaurant called Lola, and various and sundry other neat things.  (And, as I’m wont to say over and over, the Cuyahoga River doesn’t burn anymore!) I just got a voicemail from Lloyd, in fact.  He is settled in at the hotel.  Lucky bastard.  smile

Steve, you’ve probably gathered by now that Lloyd is my fair spouse.  He is not actually named Lloyd, but he has given me permission to blog about him as long as I don’t use his given name.  Now my friends all call him Lloyd.  Eventually I hope to use this to my advantage and screw with his mind until he has no damn idea what his name is, and consequently gives me power of attorney over everything.  Bwa ha ha ha ha.

tris, you are ever astute.  Those are indeed breasteses under my SP avatar chef’s jacket.  Eventually ‘mouse and Tvindy and Michael will be returning for visits, and this way I can tell them that yes, I have posted boobies to my site.  >smile As far as that trip out to the west coast goes...it looks like it will be a go, although when and for how long is up in the air.  I won’t leave you on tenterhooks, I promise.

Did I hear a Left Coast rumor?

Relax, Miz L, it’s a piece of cake.  Here’s what you do (with thanks to Pauly D for teaching me how to do this in the first place):

1.  Go the web page again and create your character.

2.  Hit your “PrintScrn” key.  This will copy your entire screen.

3.  Open up your Paint software (or whatever photoshoppable software you have—because, as I’ve mentioned elsewhere, I’m a tool of Mister Softee, I use Microsoft Paint) and paste into a new Paint document.

4. Highlight the portion of the screen that just contains your character, because, after all, we’re not *that* interested in those Comedy Central sidebars.  wink Hit “copy.”

5.  Open up a new Paint window and paste into that window.  Et voila!  Be sure to save the new document.  (I saved mine as a jpeg.)

6.  Send your brand new South Park character to everyone you know.  Much hilarity will ensue.

Jamie, what a coincidence!  Sounds like your weekend in Cleveland was grand.  I don’t know if Lloyd has plans to visit these places, but the silly bugger sent me the phone number to his hotel, so I can drop him some gentle encouragements.  wink

As for you, young Mr. Edelstein, I hope you have someone at whom to point the finger when I fly to Seattle and yell, a la Stan’s sister Shelley, “WHO SAID THAT?” smile

You should be able to just go over the image, right-click the mouse on it, hit “copy” and then go anywhere you want it (paint, word, explorer window, notepad, picture editing program, etc.) and hit “paste,” no?

You should also be able to go over the image, right-click your mouse and then “save image as” but I find that doesn’t always work as well as copy and paste.
